Responsibilities
- Analyze and calculate federal pension plans for retirees with precision and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate complex pension information to federal employees and retirees in a clear, professional manner.
- Review and update employee pension records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required by federal oversight agencies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders regarding benefits inquiries.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to optimize pension processing workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in federal benefits administration or pension management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
- Familiarity with federal government regulations and retirement systems is a plus.
