We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Federal Pension Specialist to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in federal retirement systems, ensuring the accurate processing of pension claims and the delivery of exceptional service to federal employees nationwide.

Responsibilities
- Analyze complex pension applications and retirement packages to ensure compliance with OPM regulations and federal laws.
- Provide expert guidance and technical assistance to federal employees regarding FERS, CSRS, and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) benefits.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in pension calculations, survivor benefits, and medical coverage eligibility.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll departments to ensure seamless integration of retirement data.
- Conduct audits of pension records to maintain data integrity and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes affecting federal retirement plans and update internal procedures accordingly.
- Manage high-volume caseloads efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal benefits administration, pension processing, or actuarial analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), CSRS, and OPM policy guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., E-Serve, FAS) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
