Responsibilities
- Analyze and process pension benefit applications and retirement claims with 100% accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth eligibility reviews for Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) and Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS).
- Provide clear, professional guidance to federal employees and their families regarding retirement options.
- Maintain and audit employee pension records in the centralized federal database.
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA regulations and federal pension laws.
- Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies in benefit calculations.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to update pension policy documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or federal government service.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal retirement systems, including FERS and CSRS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during the weekend shift.
