Responsibilities
- Process and verify federal pension applications and claims with 100% accuracy.
- Review and reconcile pension account data to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Handle high-volume inquiries regarding retirement eligibility and benefits calculations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive personal and financial information.
- Conduct nightly audits of pension files and system updates.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors to resolve discrepancies and backlog issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or HR is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, payroll, or benefits processing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus during the night shift.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction.
- Basic understanding of federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS) is a plus.
