This pivotal role supports homeland security operations across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Responsibilities
- Oversee federal grant programs and ensure adherence to OMB and GAO guidelines
- Coordinate with state/local agencies to align emergency response protocols
- Develop and implement performance metrics for federal program effectiveness
- Manage budgets exceeding $5M with rigorous fiscal accountability
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies for federal compliance
- Liaise with congressional stakeholders on program progress
- Lead crisis response coordination during state-federal emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years federal program management experience with DHS/DOJ/agency
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Expertise in federal procurement and grants management (FAR/DFARS)
- Proven track record in intergovernmental collaboration (TX state/local)
- PMP or CPM certification required
- Advanced knowledge of homeland security frameworks
