Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize federal veteran benefit programs in Milwaukee metropolitan area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program compliance and effectiveness
- Analyze program data and prepare detailed performance reports for federal stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance to veterans and their families regarding benefit eligibility
- Develop innovative solutions to improve service delivery and veteran satisfaction
- Coordinate with local community organizations to enhance outreach efforts
- Stay updated on federal regulations and policy changes affecting veterans' services
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal program management experience
- Proficiency in veteran benefits systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Demonstrated commitment to veterans' affairs and public service
