Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee federal grant programs serving veterans in the Southwest region
- Develop and implement program compliance protocols ensuring adherence to federal regulations
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports for congressional stakeholders and agency leadership
- Coordinate interagency collaborations with local, state, and federal partners
- Provide expert guidance to veteran advocacy groups and community stakeholders
- Monitor program performance metrics and recommend process improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams during emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one immediately)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GAINS, MAX)
- Expert knowledge of VA regulations and veteran service protocols
- Exceptional analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to obtain Albuquerque residency within 30 days of hire
