Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee federal IT and administrative projects from initiation through completion, ensuring strict adherence to federal regulations and deadlines.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of benefits administration, specifically focusing on the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) pension plan.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders and agency partners to identify project requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure full compliance with the Ethics in Government Act and other relevant federal compliance standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior staff and provide leadership on complex federal procurement and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal project management, government contracting, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in federal project management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
