Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake, digitization, and physical archiving of federal documents during assigned weekend shifts.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal record-keeping regulations (NARA standards) and agency protocols.
  • Perform accurate data entry into the Federal Records Management System (FRMS) and maintain database integrity.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and physical location verification of archives and storage facilities.

  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or security breaches to the Records Manager immediately.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment eligibility.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration, records management, or a related field.
  • Experience with computerized databases and document management software (e.g., SharePoint, DocuWare).
  • Ability to work rotating weekend schedules, including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under time pressure.
