Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols and surveillance of federal premises to prevent unauthorized access
- Operate advanced security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with coordinated protocols
- Screen personnel and vehicles entering restricted areas with thorough inspections
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation for federal compliance
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Maintain constant situational awareness during overnight operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Valid Kentucky Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Proficient in security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong physical fitness for extended standing/walking and emergency response
- Excellent written communication skills for incident reporting
- Valid driver's license with clean record
