Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols and security inspections of government facilities to ensure the safety and security of federal personnel and assets.
- Monitor access points, perform security screenings, and verify the identity of visitors and employees to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Respond immediately and professionally to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Enforce federal regulations, building policies, and security procedures with strict adherence to the law.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid State-issued driver's license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
