Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to federal facilities and grounds in strict compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety, security, and order of the property.
- Respond immediately and professionally to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Log and report daily activities, observations, and any irregularities in the security logbook.
- Verify credentials and manage visitor logs in accordance with federal regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, situational awareness, and physical fitness at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a federal background investigation (Secret clearance preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be physically able to perform patrol duties, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weights.
- Previous security experience is a plus but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
