Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot server infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Configure and maintain network systems to ensure high availability and security for federal clients.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols, including access controls and compliance with FedRAMP standards.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and guidance to internal staff and federal stakeholders.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Systems Administration or a related IT field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
