Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot federal network infrastructure and server environments during weekend maintenance windows.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols, NIST standards, and agency-specific regulations.
- Monitor system performance and uptime, escalating critical issues to senior engineering teams.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement patches to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture and improve efficiency.
- Document technical configurations, incident reports, and system changes in compliance with documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with federal IT systems, Cisco networking, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- US Citizenship is mandatory for all federal contractor positions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
