Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot state agency network systems during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to critical security incidents and implement remediation protocols
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and virtual environments
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless system handovers
- Document incident reports and maintain compliance with state security standards
- Provide remote technical support to state employees across departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years in IT infrastructure support or cybersecurity
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and network monitoring tools
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license (may be required for on-site visits)
