Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, mowing, irrigation, and facility upkeep
- Organize and supervise recreational activities, sports leagues, and community events
- Ensure safety compliance through regular inspections and hazard mitigation
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries promptly
- Operate park equipment safely (mowers, tractors, maintenance tools)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seasonal projects and special events
- Document maintenance activities and report facility issues systematically
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in recreation or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or customer service
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
- Knowledge of basic turf management and horticultural practices
