Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt patching
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, loaders, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain traffic control signage and barricades
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and water quality projects
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and traffic management
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
