Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate and maintain light equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and compressors
- Install and repair signage, barricades, and traffic control devices
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and street cleaning operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public works facilities and report issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards while working
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or related field
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
