Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate mileage records
- Collect mail from mailboxes and collection boxes at designated times
- Process customer transactions (stamps, money orders, etc.) at retail counters
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Operate automated delivery equipment when assigned
- Adhere to all USPS safety procedures and service standards
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
