Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate evidence-based public health policies for Dallas County region
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare comprehensive policy briefings
- Collaborate with state agencies, local governments, and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects on healthcare access and health equity initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage policy implementation budgets and performance metrics
- Mentor junior analysts and maintain stakeholder communication networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in healthcare policy, Medicaid, or public health programs
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Texas residency required within 30 days of hire
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Strong writing skills with published policy documents
