Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring breakthrough applications in AR/VR, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen prototypes (e.g., neuromorphic computing, climate modeling AI)
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record in developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, climate tech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner, Certified Innovation Professional)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi method)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and investor audiences
