Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive tech trends across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting innovation
- Drive R&D budget allocation for high-impact future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and futures research methodologies
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic tech impact (patents, publications, products)
