Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, advanced AI, and synthetic biology
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with global research institutions and government innovation programs
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers through agile development cycles
- Drive ethical frameworks for responsible AI development and deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 2026+ vision execution
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Track record of launching $100M+ technology initiatives
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with global tech innovation ecosystems
