Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry trends and market demands
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, biotech integration)
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen systems and validate technical feasibility
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology visions to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor junior researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum products at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, climate tech, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding or venture capital
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
