Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with disruptive potential (2025-2030 horizon)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $2M+ annual innovation budgets
- Present technology forecasts to executive board and investor committees
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Quantify market readiness and ROI for emerging technologies
- Mentor a team of 5+ technology futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record of launching tech ventures valued at $50M+
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or climate tech innovation
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight credentials
- Experience with patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
