Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic vision to executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate breakthrough innovations
- Design resilience strategies for emerging risks including AI alignment and bioethical governance
- Mentor next-generation futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry white papers
- Experience leading cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams in ambiguous environments
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFS) preferred
