Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead quantum machine learning research initiatives with 10+ PhD collaborators
- Develop ethical frameworks for advanced AI decision-making processes
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists
- Present findings at global tech conferences including NeurIPS and AI Frontiers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI/ML research with publications in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and transformer architectures
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Strong background in ethical AI development and bias mitigation
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing clusters (AWS/GCP)
- Published 3+ patents in AI or quantum technologies
