Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain spatial databases and interactive maps using ArcGIS and QGIS.
- Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data to support infrastructure planning and municipal projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning departments to visualize complex data sets.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across all government platforms.
- Create technical documentation and provide training on GIS tools and applications.
- Perform quality assurance testing on mapping products and data layers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, cartography, or database management.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, Python (ArcPy), and SQL.
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and geodatabases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government setting.
