Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming calls and route inquiries to appropriate departments efficiently.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute complex government correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
- Assist in coordinating inter-departmental meetings and maintaining meeting schedules.
- Process incoming mail, packages, and requests for information from the public.
- Perform data entry tasks ensuring 100% accuracy in county databases.
- Support senior staff with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Public Administration or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict government protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
