Responsibilities
- Record Management: Maintain and organize confidential government documents and digital records with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Public Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for constituents and government officials, answering inquiries and directing traffic efficiently.
- Administrative Support: Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and reports for senior management.
- Scheduling: Coordinate complex calendars for department heads, including travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
- Data Entry: Process high volumes of data accurately, ensuring all reports are up-to-date and error-free.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or government support role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government software systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
