Responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of incoming correspondence and ensure accurate, timely responses.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of weekly payroll data and timesheets.
- Maintain and update accurate digital and physical records in accordance with government protocols.
- Prepare briefing papers, reports, and meeting agendas for senior officials.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external government bodies.
- Ensure strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Support the team in the organization of departmental events and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or public sector role is highly desirable.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of government regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
