Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily financial transactions and government permits with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors regarding departmental inquiries.
- Maintain and update digital records and databases to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reports and statistical summaries for management.
- Operate standard office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and computer terminals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline government workflows.
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, administrative, or customer service role is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong typing skills and ability to process data quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be a reliable, self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
