Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor inmate activities to ensure institutional security and safety.
- Enforce institutional rules, regulations, and policies in a consistent and fair manner.
- Conduct headcounts and searches of housing units and common areas.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation as required by law.
- Respond to emergencies and medical situations promptly and effectively.
- Facilitate inmate programs and maintain positive staff-inmate interactions.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
- No felony convictions.
- Ability to pass the Physical Fitness Test.
