Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, citizens, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Perform basic data entry and update public records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute correspondence, reports, and memos.
- Assist the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and workspaces.
- Support various departmental projects as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License may be required for some positions.
