Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and federal regulations to assess impact on Pennsylvania residents and industries
- Conduct comprehensive research on policy areas including healthcare, education, and economic development
- Develop detailed policy briefs and reports for executive branch decision-makers
- Collaborate with agency directors to implement evidence-based policy solutions
- Monitor emerging policy trends and best practices nationwide
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Manage complex datasets using statistical analysis tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Pennsylvania's legislative process
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
