Responsibilities
- Analyze complex government programs and policies to recommend efficiency improvements and strategic enhancements
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for City Council and executive leadership
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federal/state funding initiatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects to achieve municipal goals
- Conduct data-driven research to inform policy decisions
- Ensure all programs adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices
- Develop performance metrics to evaluate program success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience with grant management and compliance
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Virginia municipal government operations
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
