Responsibilities
- Develop and administer federally funded community development programs
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., HUD guidelines)
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects with public safety and infrastructure teams
- Analyze program effectiveness using data-driven metrics and reporting
- Manage stakeholder relationships with local agencies and community organizations
- Prepare grant proposals and compliance documentation
- Lead public engagement sessions for policy implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Proficiency in grant management systems (e.g., Grants.gov)
- Knowledge of Texas municipal codes and federal compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in program evaluation
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) certification preferred
