Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal government projects, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and budgets.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with federal agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Ensure full compliance with federal regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and agency-specific guidelines.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery of deliverables.
- Prepare comprehensive status reports, briefings, and documentation for executive leadership and government clients.
- Recruit, train, and mentor junior staff members to foster a high-performance team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the government or defense contracting sector.
- Proven experience managing teams of 5+ people and multi-million dollar contracts.
- Familiarity with government software systems and compliance tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
