Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize confidential government files and archives with the highest level of accuracy.
- Perform high-volume data entry and verification tasks using state database systems.
- Assist the public and internal staff with document requests, inquiries, and filing systems.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and memos using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding document retention.
- Conduct periodic audits of records to ensure completeness and proper coding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience with data entry and records management (government experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
