Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated high-security areas during night shifts
- Operate CCTV monitoring systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate shift reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of perimeter security systems
Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in security operations or law enforcement
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- UK security clearance eligibility (SC clearance preferred)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient with CCTV and electronic security systems
