Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Integration: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure supporting federal agencies.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems comply with FISMA, NIST, and other federal regulations.
- Security Clearance Management: Coordinate and maintain active security clearances for engineering personnel.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, providing technical briefings and status reports.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test business continuity plans to ensure 99.9% uptime during critical events.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular penetration testing and risk assessments to mitigate security threats.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal systems engineering or IT consulting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization technologies, and scripting languages (Python/PowerShell).
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Sacramento, CA.
