Responsibilities
- Research & Identify: Conduct thorough research to identify new funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Proposal Development: Draft, edit, and submit high-quality grant applications and reports that align with donor requirements.
- Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and donors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports and financial statements for existing grantors to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of all grant activities and funding history in our CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program directors to gather necessary data and outcomes for grant reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development within the non-profit sector.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a strong portfolio of successful grants.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the federal and state grant-making landscape and application processes.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adhere to strict formatting guidelines.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Non-Profit Management, or a related field is preferred.
