Responsibilities
- Research and identify new funding opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and progress reports on a strict deadline.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, including pre-award planning and post-award compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather data and ensure narratives align with organizational goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of funding sources and track application status and deadlines.
- Analyze funding trends to improve future proposal strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, preferably within the non-profit, healthcare, or education sectors.
- Proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft complex narratives for diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, SurveyMonkey Apply).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
