Job Summary
As our Grant Writer, you will be the primary architect of our fundraising strategy, identifying opportunities and crafting proposals that drive revenue for our mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and target potential funding sources, including federal, state, and private foundations.
- Develop and write comprehensive grant proposals, including executive summaries, statements of need, methodologies, and detailed budgets.
- Manage the complete grant lifecycle, from initial research and submission to post-award reporting and compliance.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, program officers, and donors.
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies to maximize success rates and diversify funding streams.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate data and compelling impact stories are utilized in proposals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing for non-profit organizations or government agencies.
- Proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources with a demonstrable success rate.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills with an emphasis on persuasive storytelling.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Corpus Christi and South Texas is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
