Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify public and private grant opportunities relevant to our mission and specific programs.
- Develop and write clear, persuasive, and error-free grant proposals, including detailed narratives and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, donors, and community stakeholders to cultivate long-term support.
- Track grant deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements using project management tools and databases.
- Analyze program data to accurately report outcomes and impact to funding agencies.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure alignment between grant objectives and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing and non-profit fundraising.
- Proven track record of successfully securing funding from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Ability to translate complex program data into compelling and accessible narratives.
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantMaker, Fluxx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field preferred.
