Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to identify, research, and secure funding from government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sponsors. You will oversee the entire proposal process, ensuring alignment with donor guidelines and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify & Research: Monitor government notices, foundation lists, and industry trends to identify new funding opportunities.
- Write Proposals: Craft clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals, including needs statements, program descriptions, and detailed budgets.
- Collaborate: Partner with program staff and leadership to gather data, define project goals, and articulate impact.
- Manage Deadlines: Ensure all submissions adhere to strict donor guidelines and submission deadlines.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit required progress reports and financial statements to maintain active funding status.
- Donor Relations: Cultivate relationships with potential funders and respond to inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
