Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compliant grant proposals and narratives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Manage the grant lifecycle, including budget development, reporting, and compliance.
- Collaborate with program staff to align funding strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or technical writing.
- Proven track record of successfully securing grants from diverse sources.
- Deep understanding of the non-profit sector and philanthropic landscape in Michigan.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud).
Responsibilities

- Write high-quality, persuasive, and error-free grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with program directors to gather necessary data and narratives for funding applications.

- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
