Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify suitable government, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals, narrative sections, and budgets that align with funder requirements.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including calendar management, submission tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with program staff to accurately capture project outcomes and impact metrics.
- Maintain and update a master database of funding sources and active applications.
- Ensure all submissions are error-free and adhere to strict deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of securing funding from federal, state, or private foundations.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and basic HTML/CSS for web content management.
