Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and secure funding from federal, state, and private foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Write and edit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and progress reports with a focus on compliance and storytelling.
- Collaborate with program directors to translate complex data into compelling success stories.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, including calendar management, budget alignment, and submission tracking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in grant writing, preferably within the non-profit or social services sector.
- Proven track record of securing substantial funding (demonstrated by portfolio).
- Strong research skills and the ability to analyze funding guidelines accurately.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities; attention to detail is paramount.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) and Microsoft Office Suite.
