Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and reports tailored to funder requirements
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, develop budgets, and align proposals with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate records of funding applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing funders
- Analyze grant outcomes and provide insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven track record securing funding
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify relevant funding opportunities
- Familiarity with nonprofit financial reporting and budget development
- Experience with grant management databases (e.g., GrantStation, Instrumentl)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
